Sorrento Terrace is a group of just 8 four-storey Victorian houses, with spectacular views of the sea, Dalkey, Bray and the Sugarloaf Mountain. The houses have always carried an air of exclusivity, with their beautiful Victorian proportions, incredible views, fine size and ample gardens. This view of the terrace has been painted by Ross a few times throughout his career, and this example, painted at the end of 2022, captures the beauty of the seaside spot with charm and rich colour.
Ross says: "A client, Mrs Val Hubbard from Texas, expressed an interest in “Killiney” paintings so I decided to paint this iconic view, which I have always loved and painted several times over the years. Glad I gave it another go!"
