A beautiful abstract artwork full of rich colour and movement. Ross has spent a lot of time walking the pier in Dun Laoghaire, as have many of South Dublin's residents and visitors, and is very familiar and fond of the area. He has painted the pier and the sea here many times. This piece is a larger one that gives a sense of mystery and maritime romance to a scene that many Irish people will be warmly drawn to.
