About this Artwork
Ross says: I tend to work in series, and this artwork is one of a number I painted on a similar theme, over a few months in 2021. Our ever-changing Universe is of great interest to me. Particularly when viewed through a powerful telescope.
So my intention, when starting work on this particular painting, was to find a balance between composition, movement, colour and form. The final outcome depends entirely on where my mood-of-the-moment takes me! "Mood" is probably the best descriptive word to describe "years of experience setting out a course of action that is neither pre-planned, nor random".
Ross believes that "others" will interpret the final artwork in their own individual way!
